The discount price at Costco is $55.99. Not sure if that is the new increase yet but we will see.

Honestly I think that it's okay... I am okay paying more to go to Disney Land , Lagoon, and/or other theme parks.
I understand that it may make it so that some people can't afford to go to the theme parks if the price keeps increasing, but I don't think that is a bad thing.
When lagoon was open during the weekdays there was another family that seemed to always be there on Thursdays too, now not to judge how ever they didn't dress the best and was really kinda slobby.

I remember when we went to Disney Land that my Dad bought these shirts that he thought was funny (And they where for my family), but Disney wouldn't let us wear them into the park.
Now looking back I totally agree with them. I wished that Lagoon had a better dress code and/or enforced it better.

Waiting for Cannibal there was a girl sitting on the fence and the girls behind me made a comment to which I heard and had a look... I made a comment which made us all laugh, but after I said it I realized that it wasn't the right thing to say (even though it was pretty much true) and that really I didn't want to see what I saw either.

It doesn't take a lot to dress nicer or to be more presentable and every time we leave the house and it may be a battle to make sure that the kids are presentable, however we don't leave until they are!

So maybe an increase will thin out the crowds and will bring in a better dressed crowd.

The price of the Lagoon Single All Day Passports at Costco are $54.99. The same price they've been all summer. [Image: ca6a1d68cbfc88480dd3b625b20ef09d.jpg][Image: 8d05b3700fff55ae16ac362fd0f55608.jpg][Image: f70cf82307244693abec0853d844a69a.jpg]

So I've never been to Frightmares before, or any sort of haunted event at theme park. I know that there are haunted houses/mazes and shows, which sounds interesting. But I must ask: Will random people dressed as monsters be chasing me around the park? xD I want to see the Halloween decor, but especially if I'm on my own, I don't particularly want it to be *that* interactive. I'll probably be spending most of my time on the rides anyway.

Yes, it is possible to have a character come up to you or chase you while you wander the park. You can purchase a glow stick from any merchandise stand at the park for $1.00 that will tell the actors to not scare you.

On another note, anyone head out to the first night of Frightmares?! If you have any videos of photos to share, I would love to see them.

Thanks; is this just at night or is it all day? Also, are the haunted houses interactive in the same way?

I’ll probably buy a glow stick unless I happen to be with a large group when I go, in which case I wouldn’t mind.

And I would also love to see opening night pictures!

The wandering actors only come out later in the day usually around the same time the haunted houses are opening. I don't believe the glow sticks are permitted in the haunted houses or even if they are, you will still be scared.

Perfect, thank you! Smile And that would make sense; I mean being scared is the point of haunted houses and all, so I suppose I should’ve expected that to be the case! But it’s good to know for sure ahead of time.

We were always instructed not to scare anyone with a glowstick or being escorted by a house monitor, but that was ~2009/2010 so it may have changed.

I believe last year I saw a sign or was told directly when I purchased one that the necklaces don't work in the houses.
