Actually the park was dead at 530 when left at 930 it was way busier.

Every night I've been there the park seems to die after 8pm. It used to be when LAB closed it would get busier. Also, 5:30 is a big meal time, which explains why lines get shorter then.

Tonight the park is dead. Overflow was not used at all, Terroride's line isn't spilling out onto the Midway, Carousel Plaza is a Ghost Town, Roller Coaster is a walk on and the midways pretty clear.

I was pleasantly surprised that Saturday the 7th was not crazy busy. LAB, which we rarely go into, was packed, but the lines for slides weren't terrible. Ride lines were moving fast and it just got better as the day wore on. Our theory was the same as linearinduction's - People were just worn out or broke from the 4th of July. We might have been too, but we didn't do much on the 4th, so we were ready to go.
